What's O2 Wi-Fi?

In January 2011, O2 Wi-Fi was set up as an initiative that will see the number of premium Wi-Fi hotspots increase across the UK. O2 are the first UK mobile operator to do this and O2 Wi-Fi will offer free Wi-Fi for everyone.

O2 have UK wide Wi-Fi hotspots with The Cloud and BT OpenZone.

3G network covers over 84% of the UK population and is fully HSDPA enabled, providing speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps for customers with HSDPA enabled device.

The O2 Mobile Broadband service works across the O2 network (GPRS, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA) and Wi-Fi.

In October 2010 O2 was voted the UK's best mobile network by the readers of both What Mobile Choice magazine. And ranked highest in customer satisfaction for both UK mobile and fixed broadband customers according to the J.D Power and assiciates UK Mobile and Fixed Broadband Studies 2010.

Data Counter

If you are using a Windows laptop, our Connection Manager software will monitor your data usage. It will also warn you when your approaching their tariffs inclusinve data allowance.
